Where the money goes

The click is paid. The call is lost.

On Long Island, a click on "plumber near me" costs between $15 and $55. Most of the plumbing ads I look at lose that visitor in the first few seconds.

  • 01The ad sends people to the homepage. They land on a menu, not on the job they searched for.
  • 02No tap-to-call button on mobile. A contact form at 11 PM with a burst pipe means they call the next plumber.
  • 03No call tracking. Nobody can say which keyword or which town made the phone ring, so the budget goes everywhere.

What it costs

One flat fee. Your ad spend goes straight to Google.

My fee

From $800/month

  • Google Ads and Local Services Ads, managed every week
  • A landing page for each service you want more of
  • Call tracking on every campaign
  • Wasted searches removed weekly
  • Monthly report and a call review at day 30

No setup fee · No % of ad spend · Month to month

Ad spend

$1,500 to $3,000/month to start

Paid to Google directly, on your card, in your account. I never mark it up.

What moves the number: the towns you cover, the jobs you want (emergency calls cost more than drain cleaning), the hours you can answer the phone, and how many plumbers bid in your area. Clicks on plumbing searches here run about $15 to $55.

If you leave

You keep everything

  • The Google Ads account and its history
  • Your landing pages
  • Your call data

No notice period, no exit fee.

A good fit if

  • You or someone on your team answers the phone during the hours your ads run.
  • You want more of specific jobs: emergencies, water heaters, drains, boilers.
  • You can put at least $1,500 a month into ads.
  • You work in Nassau or Suffolk.

Not a fit if

  • Your schedule is already full and you can't take more jobs.
  • You want a fixed number of leads promised in a contract.
  • You're looking for the cheapest clicks, whatever they bring.

About

Hi, I'm William.

I started Convertix in August 2024 with my partner Alexis Gaulard. Today we run Google Ads and Meta Ads for 60 active clients, from e-commerce brands to local businesses.

What I care about is knowing where every call and every sale comes from. Most of the accounts I audit spend money on clicks nobody can trace back to a customer. Fixing that is the first thing I do.

I'm now opening the US market, starting with plumbers and home service businesses on Long Island. I take a limited number of accounts so I can work on each one myself.

Questions

What plumbers ask me first.

Do I need a new website?+

No. I build a separate landing page for your ads. Your current website stays as it is.

How much should I spend on ads?+

It depends on your town and your services. For most plumbers on Long Island, a starting budget between $1,500 and $3,000 a month gives enough calls to see what works. I'll give you a figure for your area in the free review.

What does it cost?+

From $800 a month, all included: management, landing page and call tracking. Ad spend is paid directly to Google and not included. No setup fee, no percentage of your ad spend, no long-term contract.

Can you promise a number of calls?+

No, and be careful with anyone who does. Calls depend on your town, your prices, your reviews and who answers the phone. What I commit to: tracking live within two weeks of your approval, a call review at day 30, and you can leave any month with your account, pages and data.

What counts as a call?+

A call from your ads or landing page that lasts long enough to be a real conversation (I set the threshold with you, usually 60 seconds). Spam and wrong numbers are taken out of the report.

How do I know it's working?+

Every month you get three numbers: tracked calls, cost per call and booked jobs. You see the same Google Ads account I do, and the calls by keyword and by town.

Why a freelancer and not an agency?+

You deal with the person who builds and runs your campaigns, every week. No account manager in between, no percentage of your ad spend, no long contract.

Do you work in my town?+

Anywhere in Nassau and Suffolk. See the list of Long Island towns I cover; if yours isn't there, write to me anyway.

Who owns the ad account?+

You do. The Google Ads account, the landing page and the call data stay yours if we stop working together.

How many calls are you missing?

Send me your website. Within two business days you get a short video showing where your ads lose calls and what I would fix first. Free, no commitment.

  • Where your ads send people, and whether they can call in one tap
  • Call tracking: is every call counted, by keyword and town?
  • Searches you pay for that never turn into calls
  • Ad schedule vs the hours you actually answer
  • Local Services Ads, call assets and your reviews

Already running Google Ads? You can give me read-only access and I'll look inside the account too. You remove it whenever you want.

I record every review myself. If your account doesn't need me, I'll say so in the video.
